-The Medical e-Folder App for the iPhone and iPod Touch, provides a mobile platform for storing, tracking and sharing medical information for themselves and their loved ones. This app is great for anyone who is a caregiver for a parent or has a family. Users of the Medical e-Folder App can now have their medical history as well as that of their family’s in the palm of their hand. No need to search for doctor’s records when switching physicians or filling out a medical form.
-With the Medical e-Folder App users can store their loved one’s medical history, medical conditions, allergies, hospitalization dates, blood type, height, weight, prescriptions with dosage and frequency, pharmacy information, doctors’ names and notes.
-Medical e-Folder also allows you to share your stored data via text message or e-mail on e-mail and text message enabled devices, (please check with you carrier regarding text message rates).
-The average owner of a mobile device is at the age where they have a family of their own and want to care for their parents too. We want to allow our parents a sense of independence while staying engaged in their well-being. Sometimes, it can be challenging trying to recall or manage all of the detailed medical history and information of a spouse or child(ren). I was glad to have this app on hand today, very useful to have on hand.
I love this app. I care for several individuals with different needs. This allows me to keep all the information without having to carry so much stuff! This is exactly what I have been looking for!!!!
This makes filling out doctors forms so much easier. I may ask babysitters to have it on their phones too in case of an emergency. Having all this medical information at the tip of my fingers is definitely worth the purchase.
Really a great ap. I can store the info needed with ease! Am able to have multiple folders so all the info for my inlaws, who are in their 80s, is easily available.
This App allows you to set up a password but, on the Security Menu (besides the Password button) there is a button that says "Emergency" (in red letters). If you press this "Emergency" button, it opens up the App without the password!!! It may as well be labeled "Password By-pass Button". Anyone can access your medical data. That said, if you dont mind the lack of security, its a nice, user-friendly App. You can add your doctors info from your contact list. UPDATE: I was advised by the folks at Medical e-Folder that only the "My Profile" folder can be opened w/o password in the event that the user is incapacitated and medical persons need to access the medical information contained therein. In any event, that should be specificed in the write-up.
